Occupation: Telephonist.  Next of kin: (mother) Mrs Violet Emilia Boothe.
Address on enlistment:  Toorbul.

AAMWS were not trained nurses but worked at nurses’ aides or in clerical
and technical positions, such as blood bank, physiotherapy, etc.

Life Summary:
Kathleen Violet Boothe was born 23 Feb 1924 to George Henry Boothe (1884-1966) and Violet Emelia Voigt (1897-1984). Her father George Boothe [Q187425] also served. 


After her service, Kathleen Boothe married Joseph Ashton on 19 Aug 1944 and they lived near the Maroochy River via Yandina from 1948-1980.
